Every tub is cleaned and disinfected between hires with a hypoallergenic, natural, hospital grade, non toxic disinfectant. So you can pack books, linen, kitchenware and frames straight in, and clip the lid shut when you are done. Add bubble wrap, zip ties and label cards when you book.

FAQ
Questions we get a lot
How many moving tubs will I need?
About 10 to 12 tubs per room is a good guide, and our packages are sized by bedrooms. If you are between sizes, pick the bigger one so you are not caught short.
When do you deliver, and do I need to be home?
Drop offs are on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7am and 6pm. Choose your day when you book. Someone aged 18 or over should be there, or tell us a safe spot to leave the tubs. Bookings for a week close at the end of the Sunday before.
How long can I keep the tubs?
Packages run for 1 to 8 weeks. A custom rental goes up to 26 weeks, which is about 6 months. For anything longer, get in touch and we will quote you. We collect on the same weekday your hire ends.
What if I need them longer than I booked?
Just ask before your pickup day. Extra time is charged by the day at your package's extra week rate.
Is a dolly included?
Yes, every package includes one heavy duty dolly. Extra dollies are $25 each. In the custom builder, dollies are an extra at $25 each.
What can't I put in the tubs?
No dangerous or flammable goods, chemicals, food, animals, or anything wet or dirty. The tubs are not waterproof and are not secure storage.
How heavy can I load them?
Up to 25 kg per tub, and no more than 3 tubs stacked on the dolly. Heavy things like books go best in smaller, lighter loads.
Do I need to clean the tubs?
No. Empty them, take off any labels and zip ties, and we do the rest. Every tub is cleaned between hires with a hypoallergenic, natural, hospital grade, non toxic disinfectant.
What if a tub gets damaged or goes missing?
Normal scuffs from careful use are fine. Cracks, holes or missing items are charged at the replacement price: $25 for a tub, $12 for a lid and $150 for a dolly. The full details are in our terms of hire.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancel at least 48 hours before drop off and you get a full refund. Closer than that, a small cancellation fee applies. The details are in our terms of hire.
Is it really better than cardboard?
Cardboard gets used once and then binned. Tubs keep their shape, stack safely, have lids, and get used again by the next customer. There is no tape, no flattening and nothing to get rid of afterwards.
